Finding Out The Answer
The Smiths could only run after their dog, hoping to attract his attention and get him to return to them. Kyle, on the other hand, paid little attention to them, preoccupied with his search. Kyle was knocked to the ground as he suddenly froze in place. The family was beginning to feel hopeless, so they dialed Officer John’s number to ask him for advice. With his calm and certain tone, John assured Kyle that he was in complete control of the situation.

Kyle was someone John knew better than anybody else on the planet, and he was certain that Kyle was capable of facing any risk head-on with courage. Kyle had been training for this his whole life, and he was more equipped than most for the rigors of combat. However, John recommended that the Smiths thoroughly check the tree that Kyle had selected, but that they use the greatest caution in case there was a current danger. The Smiths began to worry whether drugs had been planted in the tree by someone else. When opposed to what had been thrown in there, this would have been a welcome sight.
