With the daily walks that they took together, Kyle would easily become accepted by his new family, and the two would gradually build a bond. The Smiths were appreciative of the increased amount of exercise Kyle was receiving from this new friendship, while Kyle enjoyed being taken on such beautiful nature excursions. He knew he had to get back into his uniform and go back to work as soon as he was set free. Kyle was adamant about achieving his goals despite the difficult conditions.
